Answered questions

A few people have been asking me what Mexicans think of America and Americans. Let me first qualify this with; These are only people I know that live in my little area of Puerto Vallarta Mexico, so any angry comments please keep them to yourself.
OK Well to start off with I would say that probably close to 60-70% of the men here have been in the U.S. illegally within the past 10 years. As for the women and children that is probably more like 40-50% because many times only the men go and send money back. They all(pretty much all) agree that Mexico's political system both at the national and local levels is broken and needs a LOT of work. That is why they jump the border to make money. Even making minimum wage they can make in one hour what they make in one day here. Most jobs pay 120-150 pesos for a days work.(that is about $12)Most of them think that Americans have tons and tons of money because they see them coming down here on vacation and think that is how they live all year. Kind of funny. I blew a lot of them away when I told them, no we save up all year to do things like this, we can not just do it on a whim. Most of them, though really love Americans and don't find us brash(like the Europeans do) or rude. They do say we are a little loud though. LOL!!! That is probably because of the drunk spring break crowd that comes down screaming and hollering.
OK on to baby news. Allison is growing and changing very fast. She can now hold her head up for long periods of time and when assisted with balance can keep her legs beneath her for 1-2 second intervals. She is a real beauty. I can't wait for you all to meet her.
