Hot Water. . . . .and cooking!!!!

Yesterday the gas man FINALLY came and filled our gas tank(very big 500 liters - should last one year or more) After 4 calls and 2 trips in person to the gas company we have gas. Since we are in a newly built house it is not on any maps yet and here in Mexico well you don't exist. What a mess. How does any progress get made in this counrty at all with things like this? That is why Corona is so popular I guess. Luckily we don't really NEED gas to live here. We can build a fire in the yard to cook with(or go to Leti's Dads house) and you don't really need hot water to bath in. But OHHHHHHH it is so nice after not having any since September to FINALLY have it again.
The yard is coming together nicely. I have made a pathway(similar to the one I had in my log cabin in Colorado for those of you who saw that) out of rocks and have 5 palm trees(one will bear coconuts!) and one bouganvilla tree. If we ever find out if and when we can get hooked up for a phone line then I can take photos and post them here for all to see. Who knows though after the gas saga. Ah well that is Mexico. . . .
Have a GREAT Christmas kiddies!!!!

Mike
